Habitas Rhino By Nature Hunt

The food was a real highlight, especially the Paneer Butter Masala, which was outstanding. We also loved both the morning and afternoon safaris in Kaziranga National Park. Alwin came along on each one and shared so much about the wildlife, which made the outings even more memorable. We spent two nights at Habitas Rhino and found the room and property comfortable and beautifully kept. The hot shower was included, and the surroundings were wonderfully quiet and relaxing. Staff were always ready to help with whatever we needed. We had a fantastic stay and would gladly recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

The location is especially handy if you want to explore the Central zone of Kaziranga National park. The reception can help book safaris too, though I’d already arranged mine myself and didn’t need that service. For the price, this is a very good place to stay. The staff were hospitable and looked after us well, and the rooms were decent with nothing to complain about. Food choices were quite limited at every meal, particularly at the breakfast buffet, but what they did serve was tasty. We had a good stay, and it’s a solid budget option for a visit to Kaziranga.

The staff were friendly and professional, and gave us helpful recommendations while helping us plan the trip. The rooms were clean and tidy, and the property is close to the Kaziranga range entrances. The food was the standout for me. Habitas Rhino had the best Assamese thali I tried in Kaziranga, with green sides and banana flower sides that I didn’t find elsewhere. Their smoked pork fry was also the best I had there, mostly meat with less fat than at other places.

We travelled with our 2-year-old and elderly parents, and everyone enjoyed the meals at the restaurant. The food was delicious, portions were generous, and the quality stayed consistently good. The property was clean, peaceful and well maintained. Staff were polite and attentive whenever we had a question. Mr. Albine, the manager, was especially courteous and shared all the information we needed. Things had been planned in advance, and the billing and rules were explained clearly, with no hidden details. It was a comfortable, hassle-free stay, and I’d happily recommend the place.
