We were there on Christmas, and the caretaker had called a few days before our trip and booked a jeep for our jungle safari. That was a big help, since all the jeeps in Kaziranga were already reserved. He communicated well, and the boys who helped with cooking and cleaning were good too. The location was good, the rooms decent, and the food was nice, though there’s no restaurant and you need to order ahead. Restaurants and dhabas are within walking distance. We had a good stay.

The people were friendly and helpful. The rooms are spacious and set up for three people, with the toilet and shower in a small separate room. There’s no Wi-Fi, though mobile reception was reasonable between the room and the street. I saw a few geckos during my stay and only some other insects on the first night. I haven’t counted those in my rating since they’re outside the hotel’s control.

The owner was kind and welcoming, and the property is very close to the Kohora jeep and elephant safari entry point, which was really convenient. The room was a good size and clean.
