Hotel Kohinoor Square

They let us into our rooms early because we arrived well before check-in, and the central location was handy, just two minutes on foot from the Bus stand and five from the Railway station. One of our two rooms was spacious, while the other was very small. The rooms weren't very clean, so that could be improved. Breakfast was only puri bhaji on the first day, but it was good and wholesome the next day. The breakfast area could have been cleaner as well. Aside from those issues, we had a comfortable stay.

The food had good variety and quality, especially the local Maharashtrian dishes, and the restaurant was tasty overall. I found the staff helpful, courteous, and professional. Check-in and checkout went smoothly, and requests were handled promptly. At Kohinoor Square, Kolhapur, my room was clean, spacious, well maintained, and had a comfortable bed and good amenities. The location also made it easy to reach major parts of the city. It was a comfortable, clean stay with good service, and I'd consider coming back. A reliable choice for families, business travellers, or tourists visiting Kolhapur.

The location is convenient for travellers, close to Kolhapur Railway Station, and Mahalaxmi Temple is about 2.8 km away. The room we got was spacious, but it wasn't clean enough, and the washroom was in poor, unhygienic condition and needs major improvement. There were three of us. Instead of arranging an extra bed, they gave us only a mattress on the floor. With that much room, an extra bed or even a sofa-cum-bed would have been more comfortable. Breakfast was average: poori bhaji and sheera that didn't taste good or meet expectations. One complimentary Bisleri water bottle for three people felt insufficient. It might be okay for a single night, but the tariff felt quite high for the room condition and service. ☹️👎

The room was spacious and clean, which made for a relaxing, comfortable stay. Staff were friendly and helpful throughout, and room service was prompt and efficient.
