Treebo Shree Sai Suites - 2km from Mahalaxmi Temple

The bathroom had corroded fixtures, a strong-smelling substance that gave me a cold and throat infection, and a broken door lock. The fan was dirty, the curtains dusty, the walls stained, and cobwebs were around the room. Bed sheets and pillowcases were stained too, the AC didn’t work, and instead of a wall lamp there was just a bulb. I stayed here a few months ago and thought Treebo was a decent, affordable option for a transit stay. This time the first room reeked of cigarette smoke, and the smell got into all my belongings, so I asked to move. The second room was dirty as well. If basic hygiene can’t be maintained, they shouldn’t be doing business. No surprise they asked for advance payment through booking.com, without which my reservation was about to be cancelled.

The stay was satisfactory, and there was proper parking. The rooms were neat and clean, with the hotel about 1.5 km from the temple. Breakfast was very basic and had few items, so don’t expect much variety.

During our three-day booking, nobody came to clean the room or collect the garbage even once. Breakfast quality was poor and needs a lot of improvement. We also didn’t get a bathroom kit, hot water cattle, or tea and coffee sachets, which I’ve received at other Treebo hotels. When we arrived, the women in my family struggled with the luggage, but the staff just sat there and didn’t offer help. The room handle was broken, the digital lock didn’t work, and neither did the intercom. I’ve booked Treebo hotels in several cities before and had satisfactory stays, so I expected a certain service level. Our recent stay at shri sai suit , Kolhapur fell well short and ultimately damaged my faith in the brand.

Check-in was smooth, the rooms were very clean, and breakfast was good. Housekeeping came every day to keep things clean. We had a great time, and I recommend the hotel.
