Treebo Surya Comforts, 200 Mtrs From Kolhapur Railway Station

Breakfast was awful, and their “buffet” wouldn’t let us take a second serving. The room had no toiletries, and when I asked, they said even basic items cost extra. They also refused to provide an electric kettle at first; when one finally arrived, it didn’t work. After I booked, they told me to go to another location that looked like an ordinary apartment. When I refused, they called it a misunderstanding and sent me back. Room service was terrible throughout. Extremely unprofessional and disappointing, I wouldn’t recommend it.

The blankets provided were used, which felt extremely unhygienic, and complaints were ignored. Staff were rude and disrespectful to customers, and service was poor, with nobody paying attention to guests’ needs. I also found it concerning that staff often seemed to come to work after drinking alcohol. They brought breakfast from outside, apparently from the roadside, but told customers it was prepared at the hotel. I strongly recommend avoiding Surya Hotel. Especially with family, I would not stay here. It’s one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve had.

The breakfast was nowhere near what Treebo described. The in-room list promised two main courses, eggs to order, fresh-cut fruit, tea and coffee, and a sandwich with buttered bread, but none of those items were there. It was a terrible, third-grade breakfast after waking up, despite the “Life begins after breakfast” picture. Why charge for breakfast and advertise it like that? Please take strong action, or don’t suggest this place to anyone.

Friendly staff and a wonderful Treebo stay, just like always!
