Anandaloke Residency

The room service staff were lovely and always willing to help. I also want to thank Mr. Manoj, Mr. Sanjay, and all the female front desk staff for being warm and cooperative. Before my trip, I called the hotel from Bangalore to ask about the facilities, and Mr. Manoj patiently answered all my questions. After some bad experiences on earlier trips, I was unsure what to expect, but I felt pleasantly surprised once I arrived. My recent visit to Kolkata was about a week ago, and I had a very comfortable, pleasant stay at Anandalok Residency. The rooms are spacious, clean, and hygienic. Housekeeping was excellent, with the rooms and bedsheets cleaned daily and everything well maintained. The location was good, and the property was easy to reach. Some people mention the locality, but hotels in the city center would naturally cost much more. For this budget, the service and respectful hospitality were excellent value. It isn’t a five-star hotel, so expectations should fit the price, though the cleanliness and service were actually a step above what I expected for the amount paid. I’ve seen the negative reviews too, but staff treated us very well. I’d recommend Anandalok Residency to anyone looking for a clean, comfortable, budget-friendly stay in Kolkata.
