We stayed only one night, but they charged my parents for six and kept the money for the remaining nights instead of returning the payment for the three nights we hadn't used. My mother is a cancer patient who had to stay in KOLKATA, near TMC, after major surgery. We booked six nights, paid four in advance, and clearly asked for homely-style food and timely service. They told us they had a kitchen, but they don't; they take orders and buy food from some substandard place. Tea took three hours, and the food they gave my mother was awful. When my parents, completely dissatisfied with the service, chose to leave the next day, they charged for two more nights instead of refunding the extra three. They effectively held my parents hostage for payment. The staff are inhumane and behave like criminals. Avoid this place entirely.

I really liked the room size, the property's location, and the view from the room. Breakfast needs improvement: every day it was two bananas, two slices of toast with butter, and one boiled egg. It felt like a hostel breakfast, not a hotel one. The manager should be more honest and keep his word instead of backing out and acting innocent.

We were there for a friend's birthday, and the party went on for two days. The food was good and mild enough that it shouldn't upset you, and hygiene was maintained. Service was a bit slow.

Cleanliness was the only positive. There was no service: even getting a cup of tea meant calling three times, and there was no tea after 10 am or any breakfast. The rest was rubbish, and the experience was pathetic. OYO should retrain the staff. There doesn't seem to be a proper policy, and they gave no voucher for taking money, which felt like adding black money to the owner. If zero stars were an option, I'd give a big zero.

Very clean room, and the manager, service man, and other staff were nice. Their service was too good. Best hotel in kolkata. You can stay comfortably here.
