The lift is so small that it’s basically either you or your luggage going up, not both. I booked through make my trip, where it clearly said early check-in could be allowed depending on availability, but they charged me extra when I asked. When I brought up what the listing said, staff told me to take it up with make my trip.

The infrastructure was very poor, with a bad lift and a dirty toilet that smelled cheap. There were no towels, no water, and nothing else in the room. Total waste, and one of the worst hotels I’ve ever seen. I’d urge others never to choose fab hotels in kolkata.

The location was the one thing I liked. Everything else was below average and not clean. There seems to be an issue between the hotel and fab hotels too, since they don’t accept online bookings at all. Why accept those bookings in the first place if they won’t honour them? 😒

The staff were quite rude, and the cleanliness was poor. As a female traveler, I didn’t feel safe. Seeing many couples coming in made the place feel like a cheap hotel. I’d strongly advise solo female travelers against staying here.
