The manager was rude and abusive, ordering guests to have breakfast before 10 a.m. The breakfast itself wasn’t proper, just four awful pieces of bread, jam, tea, and an unripe banana. If you work late, they won’t clean the room after 3 p.m., and you can’t even get tea after 11 p.m. The service is terrible. They’re goons. Never go there.

The location is a plus: the neighborhood is peaceful and charming, with plenty of shops and stores nearby. The room was good, but service was lacking and people were arguing. There was a computer and a kettle in the room, and neither worked. When I asked them to replace the kettle, they argued and said they’d do it the next day. I rely on a kettle for warm water before bed, so that was frustrating. Apart from providing a room, they didn’t handle any other service properly.

The bedroom was good, had proper facilities, and the AC worked fine. The room was clean, which is a bit of a special find in the city, so it could be worth considering. Still, I thought the price was a little high, especially with a broken bathroom window pane and a shower that didn’t work properly. They served the same complimentary breakfast every day. It was too sweet, had no spice, and wasn’t very tasty.

The rooms were clean and hygienic, and the staff were helpful and cooperative. The location is handy, right at Beleghata CIT more beside Beleghata Main Post office. Buses connect to all parts of Kolkata, and Sealdah is about 10 minutes away by bus. Food is a bit expensive because they don’t have their own restaurant and buy it from a good restaurant.
