FabHotel Prime Urban Cliff - Science City

Urban Grill, the in-house restaurant, was awesome, especially the delicious biryani, and the fine dining area was great. We stayed two nights and had a wonderful experience. The rooms were decent, and check-in and checkout went smoothly. We also spent some time meeting friends in the spacious lobby with its lavish sofas. The location connects New Town and old Town, making both areas accessible. The route to the airport was smooth too, with less traffic in New Town. Urban Cliff is highly suggested.

The banquet looked magnificent, the location was good and easy to reach, just 5 mins from Tiljala, and the food quality was excellent. Owner Mr. Mobashir and manager Mr. Parvez were very humble. But on the event day the waiters behaved badly, hospitality was unbelievably poor, and Md. Shalish and his team handled planning and operations terribly. The food quantity was below average, and more than 50% of our guests left without having the main course because it wasn’t refilled. We chose their banquet, food, and service package. No amount of management apologies could make up for the loss of face in front of our friends and relatives. Choose the banquet, but get outside catering of your choice.

We booked around 15 rooms, and most had locks that didn’t work. Many of our guests got locked out and had to wait for someone to open the doors. They don’t provide water bottles to guests at night, and there was only one poor guy dealing with issues for the whole night. Guest entry took an hour to process. The poor service embarrassed my family. Don’t book multiple rooms here. The manager speaks politely until you’ve paid, then gets rude when he knows you’re stuck.

The rooms weren’t cleaned properly, and there was nothing provided in the room, not even a kettle for hot water. A drinking water bottle costs Rs. 30/-. It took 1.5 Hrs for everything, including food. My breakfast was included for two people, but they didn’t bring it until I reminded them, then 1.5 Hrs later they served just one person’s portion. Hospitality and restaurant service were below standard. It felt like they only wanted MONEY. Overall, not good. Worst experience.
