Goroomgo Indeedcare Hotel & Resorts Kolkata

The staff were good and not rude, but the location is far from central Kolkata, so if you're coming to explore the city, I wouldn't choose this hotel. The security guard would hassle me every time I entered, asking where I'd been and where I was going, taking a photo of my contact after I gave a secret code, then checking with the hotel before letting me in. I also paid extra for arriving two hours before noon. Service was slow, with only a few staff: I waited nine hours for a towel. The tea maker was never changed, and maggots were visible with nobody addressing it.

I booked four nights in the most expensive room, but managed to stay only one because the service was the worst I've had. The toilet seat was broken, the bed smelled, the walls were peeling, and the curtains were dusty with big spots. People partied until 4 and kept me from sleeping. There was no phone in the room to call for help, and neither Fab nor housekeeping responded or helped. I'm not attaching photos.

For around 2500 - 3000 a day, this apartment wasn't worth the money. The room was pathetic and unclean, with a broken TV and wall socket, and a very dirty balcony and bathroom. Staff were somewhat rude and unprofessional. Dear Mr/Mrs Fab, please look at some reviews of this apartment. Compared with other Fab hotel & resorts all over India, this property partnership really doesn't deserve the name.

There was a foul smell in the room, and the comforters had fungus. They'd joined two single beds, leaving a large gap between them. The washroom had no bucket and there was no doormat outside it. There also wasn't a room service number in the room, so we had to scramble to find one. On top of that, the property demanded an extra ₹2,300, blaming a technical glitch in the apps that quoted a lower price. I had to pay it.
