The courteous, helpful staff were a real plus throughout my stay in Room 119. I checked in early at 6:00 AM on 9 June 2026, paying an extra charge, and left at 11:00 AM on 10 June 2026. The stay was satisfactory, about 7/10 overall. The central location is excellent: Esplanade is around 500 metres away, Babu Ghat and the Victoria Memorial are about 2 km away, and Chandni Chowk Market and New Market are within walking distance. That made sightseeing, shopping, and local travel convenient. The room served its purpose for a short stay, but I’d rate it 6/10. Hygiene was average and could be better. Also, the Deluxe Room shown on MakeMyTrip looked quite different from the room I actually got, so the online photos set expectations it didn’t meet. Decent comfort, but better cleanliness and room presentation would improve the experience.

After three stays, I’m still disappointed that I haven’t been given one of the larger rooms the hotel says it has. They say it’s often fully booked, but I haven’t seen many guests on my visits, and all the rooms seem quite small. Some room amenities are broken, and the walls have water damage. I’d give the stay 1 out of 5. I’ve been charged between 1200 and 1300, though I think the room should cost around 800-900, and the location isn’t ideal. One staff member was understanding and helpful, and offered online payment. Other staff only accept cash, saying they have to pay higher GST, even though many guests prefer options like Google Pay and PhonePe.

The room was clean, well kept, and had everything I needed. The bed was very comfortable, and I appreciated the care put into setting up the room. From arrival, the staff at Hotel Al Sana were welcoming, friendly, and professional. Check-in went smoothly, and I felt at home right away.
