The room was small, and there were holes and cigarette burn marks on the bed cover. The room service boy kept pestering me for tips. I wouldn’t waste my breath or time recommending it.

Please don’t book this hotel. MMT or Oyo shows very cheap rates, around 500rs a night, but I feel they’re defrauding customers. The staff were disrespectful and behaved very badly. The location felt unsafe and was very bad, and the rooms were unhygienic. They claim 1500 RS per night, but to me the room wasn’t worth 5rs. Be careful with hotels booked through Oyo or MMT, especially in Kolkata. It’s better to go directly, see the rooms for yourself, and then book.
*Please avoid this hotel.* It felt more like a trap than a hotel. They take Oyo bookings at a low price, around 500-600, but when you arrive, they won’t give you a room. Instead they ask for 1200-1500 rs and offer a room at a different hotel with the same name. Then you have no choice but to pay that much to get a room. The rooms are tiny, like slums. They don’t allow outside food, and the food they provide is expensive and tasteless. They ask you to pay for every basic item. We ran into the same problem and argued with the receptionist because of his behavior. Oyo should take strict action against these kinds of 420 hotels.
The washroom and bed were clean, and the staff were polite. The hotel has a lovely rooftop cafe too. It’s a nice budget option in Kolkata for a short visit or a couple’s stay, with a great feel to the place.
The food was tasty, and delivery took a reasonable amount of time. The room itself was a comfortable size, though the bathroom was far too cramped. Finding the hotel was a struggle: Uber and Google Maps seemed confused, and I spent an extra 35 minutes asking people who didn’t know where it was. Booking through OYO was worse. The staff refused to honor the OYO rate and asked for extra money, leaving me stuck between the hotel and OYO for around 30/45mnts. I’d go to AAMAZE DHABA for the restaurant, but I wouldn’t book a room here.
