Hotel Aston

The staff are polite, helpful, and cooperative, but the tariff isn't worth even 1000. The room finishes once you enter. The bathroom door won't close, and although there's a geyser, no hot water comes.

We urgently needed somewhere for a week while a patient was admitted to a nearby hospital. Among the strange, overpriced, posh, and dirty options, this hotel seemed like the only okay one. A double room cost 1700/- per night. The staff were very nice and helpful, but the room was missing a lot of basic things: there weren't proper hooks in the washroom for clothes, or anywhere in the room to hang wet towels. We stayed in room 502 on the 4th floor, which had a cooler AC. We looked at another double room on the 1st floor with a split AC, but it was full of flies, so we chose the 4th floor. The stay wasn't bad, but this probably wouldn't be my first choice.

We keep coming back. For a 2-star place, the location is excellent, and the reception staff are friendly and polite. The room is a good size and comfortable for the price, and the room service is good. At this price, you can't go wrong.

The staff are really good, polite, and helpful, but the rooms are pathetic. The bathroom doors don't close, there's no exhaust fan, and everything from the bathroom seems to come into the room. There's almost no space, just the bed and washroom.
