Hotel BN Palace

This place is out on the expressway, with not a single shop or anything else nearby. Our rooms weren't clean either, the linen had spots and the bathrooms had several problems, including slow water and a waterjet that didn't work. Staff asked for more money even though we'd prepaid. After we showed the receipt, he put us in separate rooms on different floors, apparently out of anger. The owner's and staff's behaviour was unprofessional and unpleasant. Booking.com didn't help us with it. Pick this hotel if you want your holiday or mood spoiled.

There wasn't a restaurant at this so-called "PALACE" hotel, and there was nothing nearby. Even delivery from a good restaurant showed a 45-minute wait. I can't imagine staying there with a baby. I booked after seeing the online reviews, but I wonder if they were paid or posted by people the hotel knows. The road was under construction, there was nowhere to park, and the entrance was muddy and sandy. At reception we waited a long time with our baby while the staff tried to sort out the booking. The rooms were spacious, but that didn't help. Someone sprayed so much room freshener that it made me worry about cleanliness. We were given a small bed even though we'd booked while travelling with an infant, and the sheets were dusty and stained. Hospitality was zero. Nobody even asked why we were leaving early. I wish there had been a negative rating option, because this ruined my whole day's plans. Families travelling with children should avoid this hotel and the surrounding area.

The rooms and facilities were good, and the food and other services were nice too. Had a good experience overall.
