6/10
The breakfast was good, the staff were helpful, and the location is great. Even with a major road right outside, it wasn't noisy. The room had a good amount of space and was clean in the places that mattered, but we were unlucky with it. There was no ventilation, and mildew stains on the walls made it smell musty and stuffy. Corners, handles, and light switches all needed a deep clean. For the price, it should be better. At checkout we saw rooms that seemed nicer, but they were occupied, so we couldn't switch.

The rooms are a little small, but they have everything needed. The hotel is close to places like park street and victoria palace, and the food was good. The menu is vegetarian only, but we enjoyed it. The rooms were very clean and service was great. Staff were courteous, and the front desk attendant was friendly, helpful, and answered all my questions. An amazing hotel.

For what we paid, the rooms were much too small compared with the pictures online. The staff were extremely rude, and the manager's attitude made us feel very uncomfortable. Nobody changed our towels or bedsheets for two whole days. I wouldn't recommend staying here.

Good value for the money, with friendly service. Travellers often pick it for convenience and comfort.

A lovely place to stay and eat. China Sharma takes good care of customers and serves them very well. Do visit when you're in Kolkata. Best wishes!
