Fabhotel Globe Express

The views were great and the location was nice. The room was very clean, and the staff treated me well. A very good stay.

A good place to stay, and the service was satisfactory.

The room was comfortable enough, with clean linens, though the furniture looked dated and some fixtures needed attention. Shower pressure kept changing, and noise from nearby rooms and the hallway woke me on a couple of nights. Staff seemed uninterested, which made me feel like just another guest. The location is handy for major attractions and public transport, and the lobby was clean and welcoming. Check-in was easy. It’s a reasonable budget option in a central spot if the basics are enough for you. Better service and maintenance would make the stay more memorable.

After checking out, I sat in reception waiting for my cab, but a staff member kept watching and pacing around us every 30 seconds as if we were criminals. We were just foreign guests. I found that treatment unacceptable and was shocked by it. The one night here was a nightmare. The room was filthy, and the bathroom water supply was broken. The front desk person was very rude and seemed unwilling to do his job. Checkout was at 12 PM, but from 11 AM staff kept telling us, “YOU WILL CHECK OUT TODAY.” Right at noon, as we were about to leave the room, he called the landline and rudely said it was time to check out. I suspect the positive reviews may be fake because this place doesn’t seem suitable for anyone. I would never recommend it. Do not trust those positive reviews.
