This is in a handy spot for public transport, and it seems popular with office workers stopping for a quick drink after work or spending the evening. The food is reasonably priced, the waiters are friendly, and the bar has a good variety. Try the dry chilli chicken, it’s very nice. I wasn’t keen on the dull hospital-blue interior. A simple white would give the place more life.

The employees are friendly and well behaved, and the food and wine are good. The bar, restaurant, and hotel are on Ganesh Chandra avenue, very near BBD Bag in the heart of Kolkata. It feels more like a local pub and gets a bit crowded, so it’s not very suitable for families. Smokers will appreciate being able to sit at a table and smoke while having a drink.

Near Chandni Chowk metro, it’s a good place to spend time with colleagues or friends. It works well as a bankers’ bar or a spot for CA meetings. The food is good, and local and international alcohol brands are reasonably priced. It can feel a bit suffocating when cigarette smoke builds up.

The price felt high for such mediocre rooms. I also had to ask them to replace every pillow and blanket because the ones provided at first were very dirty.

The staff were mostly pleasant, and the place is very close to the city centre and Esplanade. Other than the location, though, it was just an okay stay. The rooms and amenities didn’t match the price.
