Indismart Hotel

The staff were friendly, cooperative, and attentive whenever I needed help. Service was smooth and professional throughout, which added a lot to my stay. The food was fresh and tasty, served nicely, and the dining experience was a plus. Indismart Hotel has a peaceful, modern atmosphere, and I felt relaxed as soon as I arrived. My room was neat, organized, comfortable, and had the basic facilities. The location is well connected and easy to reach. Good value and excellent hospitality, I'd happily recommend it and return.

Chef Debanjan and his team kept the compliments coming all evening. Every dish was delicious and nicely presented, and the whole Indismart team made our parents’ 50th anniversary feel personal and special. Mr. Kamalendu planned the banquet closely, from the food and separate drinks area to having executives greet and help our guests. Arijit handled guest coordination well, and Ms. Oindrilla stayed on top of everything. She even arranged a complimentary anniversary cake, such a lovely surprise. Everyone was warm, courteous, and helpful throughout. We’ll remember this celebration for a long time. Thank you all for making it so memorable for our family. 🙏✨

The rooms were good for our guests, and I had no complaint about the chef’s food quality. The banquet service, though, was a different story. At my daughter’s Ashirbad and ring ceremony at Indismart, food refills were very slow. Guests missed fish fry, prawns, mutton, and desserts, and the coffee was cold. Kamalendu Bhattacharjee, the F&B Manager, and his team kept delaying despite repeated requests to bring snacks to the tables. Kamalendu had to rush to the kitchen twice to get mutton for the main guests, and the prawns ran out. There was no fish fry for a long stretch. I even had to ask for dessert, and the sweets had been hidden under the table. Near the end, there were no fresh spoons available either. I felt badly embarrassed in front of my guests. We had discussed serving snacks at the tables, but the previous manager left and Kamalendu, who had not been part of those initial discussions, took over. I also asked them to warm coffee for at least three guests. Without food warmers under the trays, guests were left with cold food and drinks. I feel the refills were held back to reduce consumption, and the banquet service was unreliable and unprofessional. Ms Oindrila Sen’s reply was unsatisfactory because it focused on decoration. Decoration wasn’t the issue; the poor refilling and service were. I don’t know how they can call this professional hotel service. With this standard, banquet guests will keep complaining. Maybe Indismart will take a closer look then.

The hotel is on the main road, and breakfast has plenty of choices. The room was okay too, with a mini fridge and hot water around the clock. Getting basic things sent up was the problem. The listed room service and housekeeping numbers either didn’t work or weren’t answered, so I had to go to reception myself for soap and a shaving kit. They also charge for disposable slippers, which I don’t appreciate from a three-star hotel. It’s quite a way from the metro, and a solo rickshaw ride costs 50-60 bucks.
