Kings Crown Hotel- Saltlake

I was 45 minutes late checking out, and the staff asked me to pay extra. First he said ₹1,000, but when I asked for a bill, the amount became ₹600. He seemed to be trying to put the money in his own pocket. Very bad staff. The rooms are okay-ish, the AC doesn't cool, and there's no pressure pump for the toilets. Toiletries included a comb and soap.

We lost ₹10,000 at this shady hotel, and the manager was incredibly ruthless with me and my family. The room photos were misleading, and there was no empathy or care for guests. Basic things were missing, including a telephone and room service. The washrooms were unclean, the linen dusty, and the elevator malfunctioned and couldn't fit a wheelchair for an elderly guest. There were frequent power cuts, too. Even so, they refused to give us a partial refund for the unused days. Be cautious booking through third-party sites like Agoda. This place is a complete disaster. Don't be fooled by the pictures online.

In my whole career, I've never stayed in a hotel with service this poor. I was trapped in a lift for at least an hour, and the hotel staff gave no help. A pathetic and life-threatening experience.

The food menu was good, and the dishes were delicious. Serving staff were cooperative and helpful, and the room was neat, clean, and well maintained with commendable room service. The manager was decent, gentle, and courteous.
