I can stay here without hesitation. The staff are really good, the rooms are neat and tidy, and the food tastes like it was made at home. Another pleasant stay on my official trip, definitely above five stars 👌🏻👌🏻

A handy place to stay in Salt Lake Sector 1 if you're visiting for studies, medical needs, a short trip or office work. The rooms are clean, have AC, and are reasonably priced. The airport, railway stations, shopping malls, theatres and Enjoy parks are all close by.

The owner has space to park two cars but won’t let guests park theirs. He even uses his Honda city to block both spaces. If you park somewhere else, they send you a notice telling you to move your car. Such a sadist!!!

The daily cost, including lunch and dinner, is almost 6000/- rupees. There’s one double-bed A/C room and one single-bed non A/C room, and each has an attached bathroom. A caretaker can bring tea and bread for breakfast or teatime, and can also serve a substantial early-morning meal if you order. Lunch and dinner are fresh and taste like home cooking.

The food was good and reasonably priced, and the staff were friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean and comfortable, too. The Lake Place Guest House is close to many of Kolkata’s attractions, which makes it a good choice for a budget-minded traveler. I had a great stay and would recommend it to anyone looking for an affordable place in Kolkata.
