Parking is a big problem if you come by car. The hotel has no parking, and even the owner's cars are left on the pavement, causing public disturbance. With your car outside, it’s hard to relax when a local person might damage it out of grievance. The rooms are small, and the food portions are less than expected. Prices are high for the amenities, and staff behavior is below par. Complaining to the manager or owner gets much the same response as from the junior staff. The owner was rude and impolite, which doesn’t fit a hospitality business. The hotel is in a congested part of south Kolkata, near an always crowded medical College where rural people come for free treatment, and medicine stores surround it. There’s a masjid, gurgldwara, and temple within 50 meters. You can imagine how much noise carries all day, starting with the first azan.

I was here for one night, so this is just what I noticed. The location is great, close to IPGME&R, and room service was available. The food was good and reasonably priced. The blanket cover had stains, and I spotted 2-3 baby cockroaches in the washroom. The old style AC was so loud I couldn’t sleep well, even though I’m not usually a fussy sleeper. It’s right beside your head, so the cold air blowing on me gave me a headache. For a cheap, short stay, it could still work.

The location is the one good thing, but my overall experience was poor. I booked a room without twin beds and was given a twin bed room at check-in. The staff weren’t helpful and misled customers. They also charged me an extra Rs500 without telling me.

We stayed for 4 days. When I went to check out, the reception staff, Atish and Rohit, behaved rudely and misbehaved with my wife. This hotel doesn’t feel suitable for families. Please don’t stay here with your family.

Really disappointed. The service was very poor, and the washrooms were extremely unclean. Guests are offered unhygienic staff washrooms, and it didn’t feel safe for ladies. Humanity lost 😞
