Inside, the Guest House has a lot of character, with a Colonial Era theme, a piano, gramophone, and carefully placed period pieces. The outside doesn’t hint at how lovely it is within. The rooms are large, with high ceilings, and each is named for a famous painter with one of their works displayed. It’s very well maintained. Staff seemed few in number, but they were friendly and took good care of us. I’d stay again if I return to Calcutta.
