The best thing about this hotel is its prime location in Kolkata. The building is very old and visibly in poor condition, despite having operated as a hotel for over twenty years. Some staff behaved very well, but others were rude and not at all humble. In my view, it isn't worth the money. It needs urgent upgrades if it's going to compete with other places.

Inside, the rooms are good and have an old-movie feel. I heard the building is nearly 100 years old and has been a hotel for about 27 years. The outside roofs look somewhat damaged.

I stayed for a day and came away with mixed feelings. The location is a plus, though it can be a little hard to find. The building is very old, and the service didn't meet my expectations.

Some of the staff were courteous, but others were rude. The guest house is in a prime location, though it isn't properly maintained.

I couldn't stay there for even a minute. The room looked much worse than the pictures, smelled smoky, and the bedsheet was so bad it could make you vomit. People were drinking beer right beside the room, and the place felt unsafe. The building is very old, with big rats around. I asked for a refund, but they refused because the booking was non-refundable. I managed to book another room with my friend's help.
