OYO 1857 Salt Lake Sector 2

We booked ahead, but when we arrived they said they had no record of the reservation and no rooms available. The staff showed no empathy and treated us with contempt. Then they refused to refund us, leaving us stranded and out of pocket. This was a nightmare of an experience. Save yourself the trouble and avoid this sham of a hotel.

We booked a room yesterday, but when we called, they said none were available. They sent us to another place called Indigo inn, saying it was their other, better hotel than the goroomgo one. It was horrible: no parking, poor facilities, damp room, badly behaved staff, and construction still going on. One man, about 5'3 to 5'5 with a dark complexion, made us even angrier this morning with his bad behavior. 👎👎👎

The rooms and washroom were decent and clean, and the location was pretty good. I’ve stayed at a lot of hotels in Kolkata over the past 2-3 years, and plenty were decent, but the hospitality here was on another level. I’d say give it a try ✌️

After taking prepayment for a booking at AL 111, Salt lake sector II, they moved me to another address, AL 283, Salt lake sector II. They didn’t provide an invoice, the customer care was bad, and the room was dirty with bedbugs. It felt like a cheat.
