OYO 3039 Step Inn Guest House

The staff were helpful and the rooms were clean, but there wasn’t much space. The bathroom lock was broken, the basin tap spun all the way around, and the commode covers were damaged. The AC also didn’t work properly, with the temperature reading shifting between 21 and 24. It’s in the Ruby area, particularly Tagore Park, and needs an immediate infrastructure update. Aside from those problems, the stay was decent.

Although the staff were polite and courteous, their service was slow. In room 402, the AC vent and the rack for the TataSky set top box were broken, and the bathroom had a strange smell. I also didn’t like being asked to pay in advance when the Oyo app allows payment any time during the stay.

The food was good, but that was about it. Rooms are small, the WiFi doesn’t work, the location isn’t great, and I had security concerns. The staff weren’t friendly, and they keep your original ID card until checkout. The service was pathetic. I wanted to give zero stars because this place doesn’t deserve a rating. Not recommended, don’t waste your money here.

Since 2017, I’ve kept choosing Step Inn Guest House. Their food and hospitality have always been superb, and they’re among the best OYOs near KASBA. Couples could visit once, and I’m sure they’d appreciate STEP INN’s norms and regulations.
