OYO 30953 Home Stay 2

We paid in advance after booking through OYO, but at 11pm they still refused to let us in, saying, "OYO WALO KO ENTRY NHI DETE HUMLOG". Scammers! This is one reason OYO is successful. Don't book this place through OYO, or even visit this third-class hotel.

The staff were polite, cooperative, and helpful, and there was a security guard available 24 hours a day. The complex is locked at night, so I'd give the safety measures 4 stars. Cleanliness gets only 1 star, and the overall view gets 3. The owner needs to take care of cleanliness and maintenance. If those things are maintained, Home stay 2 could be a very good place to stay.

The rooms are small, dirty, and lack sanitation, and they aren't ready until an hour after you arrive, leaving you waiting at reception. Cigarette smoke from guests and staff spreads into every room. The reception is noisy with songs, the opposite of a peaceful place. Staff behave badly too, even though the amenities and rooms are poor enough that the staff should at least be good. People staying there seem badly behaved, often partying and smoking. I can't recommend booking at all. OYO customer care couldn't cancel after I'd booked, so think 10000000 times before you do. Guests who give good reviews may be doing so out of fear of possible negative outcomes. This OYO is worse than a spot on and any hotel ever in the whole world. Nobody wants lung disease because of other people's recklessness.

I booked this OYO because my exam center was nearby and paid in advance, thinking the pictures showed a clean, nice place. Once I saw the ground-floor room, there was a terrible smell everywhere and the space felt so congested and suffocating that I couldn't breathe for a moment. It wasn't clean either. I asked the receptionist to show me a room on an upper floor, but he said there weren't any. He suggested I cancel and promised a refund within 24 hours, so I did. I still haven't received the money, and when I complained, they said they couldn't refund it. The hotel was smelly, dirty, and cramped, the staff were bad, and I'm not getting my money back. If zero stars were an option, I'd give that.
