OYO 3301 Maya International

I booked through OYO, booking ID IMF6571, because the hotel was close to my exam venue. The owner said the rooms normally go for 800, although OYO charged me around 1400. The actual rooms looked nothing like the pictures, and the building was old, poorly ventilated, with nearby buildings uncomfortably close. Rooms were extremely small, and basic cleanliness was lacking. It mainly caters to unmarried couples renting rooms for a few hours, so families may not find it comfortable. When I contacted OYO later to complain, they said I had to file it on the same day. I understand that, but no action was taken over the totally fake room pictures. Better avoid this hotel and stay away from OYO.

The hotel is down a narrow passage, and the rooms were awful and very dirty. I saw staff getting intimate with a guest in a vacant room, then trying to give us those same rooms. It was disgusting to see. This is a third-class hotel. Don’t go with your family or loved ones.

The water smelled of bleach, and even the plate hadn’t been washed properly. My room was on the third floor, but there wasn’t a WiFi router on each floor, so they told me to connect to the first-floor router. The place was awkwardly located, and you had to walk to Surya Sen street to get a cab. The room and washroom were dirty, with leftovers lying around, and loud street noise came through too. A very bad experience.

It was a poor experience. The room hadn’t been cleaned when I checked in, so I lost an hour cleaning it myself. They didn’t provide soap or shampoo, saying they weren’t available when I asked. The bathroom was dirty, the AC wasn’t working properly, and the hot drinking water they gave me smelled of bleach.
