OYO 5659 near Park Street

The vegetarian-only food was a pain throughout the trip, and the constant temple sounds made it hard to relax. There’s a big Mandir on the ground floor that you have to walk through each time. The bells are very loud every morning, with bhajan kirtan in the evening. I wouldn’t find this comfortable as a non-Hindu guest, especially on vacation.

We were there for a day, and the US VAC biometric centre was about 2 km away. The room was spacious and clean, with working AC, TV, and water heater. The pure vegetarian breakfast was included as an unlimited buffet, which was nice. It was easy to find, above Mira Temple, and we had a comfortable stay.

There are plenty of good places to eat nearby. The hotel itself was clean and neat, and the breakfast was good too. For the price, I thought it was good value.

The location is excellent for getting to the markets, and the staff were friendly and very helpful. The place was clean during my stay, but the photos online don’t match what the rooms are actually like, and the hotel really needs renovation. Breakfast was limited to one meal, with only vegetarian sandwiches, corn flakes and milk, tea, coffee, or toast with butter and jam. The food quality was average. The blankets and pillow covers smelled bad even though they looked clean, so the linen needs changing and better fabric conditioners should be used. My stay was good overall. Please take this as a suggestion to improve the business, since the location is so good.
