OYO 9316 Honey Regency

I came from Patna, Bihar, where I’ve had much better service and hotels than this. Here, the place smelled bad and was dirty, like a pigeon’s hut. The reception staff also clean rooms, and they were very unprofessional. The payment policy is too much: they take your money first, then you have to keep chasing service. Don’t book here. If you’re looking for a torn sheet or smelly blanket, this is the place.

The rooms were dirty and stank, and the washrooms were unusable, like garbage. Check-in wasn’t smooth. Dear hotel manager, please clean your rooms.

I was uncomfortable the whole stay, and don’t think the room was worth even 200 Rupees. The receptionist was unprofessional. The room was really dirty: the bedsheet and blanket were filthy, both mirrors and the wall were dirty, and there were spit stains. The chair looked as if it hadn’t been cleaned for years and wasn’t usable. There were dirty, useless things lying around, including a pillow, ash tray, and old set top box; the night lamps were dark with years of dirt. The curtains were really dirty too, and I attached a picture. There was a strange smell, with no perfume, and some kind of invisible fly was biting and causing itching. I didn’t get an attached toilet, there was no toilet hanger, and the commode was dirty. There was no handwash. They expected guests to use the same thin soap that had been in use for weeks. When I asked, the receptionist said even 5-star hotels have no handwash. The Wi-Fi wasn’t good. I’ve said enough.

After a 2 hour wait, I was finally checked in to a below-standard room with pan and masala spit all over. It was a nightmare. The process itself took forever, staff seemed disinterested and lacked basic professionalism, and the amenities were poor. I had booked through OYO for 800₹ prepaid, but was asked to pay an extra ₹400, which I firmly refused. I was denied check-in, and after a long discussion the OYO area manager told me to pay the hotel extra. I refused again. @OYO.. You should fire your area manager
