OYO Flagship 13641 Elgin Terrace

I arrived expecting a nice stay, only to be told the rooms were under construction and they couldn't give me one. They offered to move me to their other hotel at a cheaper rate or have me wait two hours in reception. I couldn't cancel my Oyo booking and had already paid, so they moved me, but didn't refund the difference in price. They also barely made up for the lost checkout time, extending it only from 11 to 12:30. Very disappointing.

There were no windows in the rooms, the bedsheets were dirty, and the facilities were poor. We were left without lights for nearly 30 minutes during loadshedding, with no backup power. The staff were arrogant and rude, and the whole experience was pathetic. It felt like the place was run by goons. Avoid this hotel.

On a confirmed Oyo booking, the manager refused check-in and charged an extra 350 to let me into the hotel. The owner even proudly claimed that more than 1000 customers had faced similar situations, and that escalating them did nothing. Harassing guests this way is unacceptable, especially when they know complaints won't be resolved and they'll just do as they please.

I booked through Goibibo, but they refused check-in because the price was under 1500. Even arriving late at night won't help if your online booking is below that amount, so don't book at a price under Rs 1500. The place is a lodge or guest house, not a hotel, so don't expect hotel-level comfort or service. The rooms and corridors were filthy and smelled strongly of cigarette smoke, the bedsheets were unclean, and the bathrooms had pan gutka stains.
