OYO Flagship 74825 Hotel Om Shanti Palace

The room I got after arriving at 10:30 pm, delayed by my flight, was small and dirty, and the washroom was very dirty too. There were no blankets. I’d booked for two days after the manager told me rooms would be available, but the stay was deeply disappointing. When I asked for clean sheets and pillow covers, the service boy was rude. He also refused to change the glasses, and I had to ask repeatedly. He was rude to my wife when she asked twice to turn on the TV. The manager and all the staff were extremely rude. There was no food service inside, and the manager wouldn’t let us order from Zomato or elsewhere because of their outside food rules. We had to order from their associated hotel, where the food was expensive, poor quality, and small in portion. The Oyo booking price was also rejected at check-in, and they demanded more money to give us a room. With it so late, our luggage, and my wife with me, we felt forced to pay. The Oyo listing showed 3.6 stars, but I don’t think this place deserves even one. I felt harassed throughout the stay.

Avoid booking here. The manager lies, in my view, and if you reserve through Oyo they may refuse your check-in because the hotel won’t receive payment directly. The management is poor and the staff have a terrible attitude. When complaints are made to Oyo, the manager and owner tell them lies, according to my experience. They’re fraudulent people with no manners.

After I booked with Oyo, they said the classic room I’d reserved was sold out and that I had to take a deluxe room at double the price. When I checked the room, I found strands of hair from what looked like mesh girls here and there. It wasn’t good at all.
