Hotel Park Prime Kolkata

The room was excellent, clean, spacious, and very well maintained. Service was great and on time, and the staff were humble, polite, and helpful throughout. My stay at Hotel Park Prime was comfortable, and I'd definitely recommend it to people visiting Kolkata.

The staff were polite, and I appreciated being allowed an early check-in. If staying near Park Street is your main priority, the location is the real advantage here. The other basics were disappointing: despite asking several times, I never got the Wi-Fi password, and room service didn't have simple things like green tea sachets. Breakfast was average at best, with limited choice and nothing memorable. My room wasn't properly cleaned, with visible stains and poorly maintained bathroom fittings. I'd pick this property only for Park Street; the cleanliness, room quality, and service gaps make it poor value otherwise.

The well-maintained swimming pool and workout station on the 7th floor were a highlight, and the conference room is spacious and works well for meetings. The hotel has an impressive ambience, with polite and courteous staff who made the stay pleasant. Food was tasty, too. Its location is convenient, near Kalighat Metro station and opposite La Martina School. A delightful experience.

The restaurant food was good, but the stay was disappointing and the hotel needs serious improvement in staff behavior, cleanliness, and maintenance. I had booked two days and arrived at 8:30 AM. Even after I offered to pay extra for early check-in, reception refused to give me a room; they finally assigned one at 11:45 AM. While I waited, no staff member came over or even offered drinking water. The old property showed in the poor room quality and strong unpleasant smell in the corridors. The AC swung between excessively cold and hot. The bedsheets were old and worn-looking, and the bathroom wasn't hygienic.
