Sarai Inn

The staff were polite and helpful throughout my stay, and the room was kept spotless. It was small, but the fittings were high quality, from the bathroom fixtures to the modern lighting, and everything felt fresh and well cared for. The location is very convenient, right in a prime area of Kolkata Park Circus, just steps from Quest Mall. Shops and local markets are close by, and cabs and public transport are available round the clock nearby, so getting around was easy. Whether you're visiting for business, shopping, or leisure, this little hotel makes a comfortable base. I'd recommend it to first-time visitors and regular travelers alike.

The owner was rude when the AC wasn't working and wouldn't accept that there was a problem. He kept saying we should feel like we were in Kashmir, as if we'd never used an AC and didn't know how it worked. They moved us to a smaller room and refused to refund us.

The host was very friendly, and I had no complaints during my stay. The place was clean and close to Park Street, while Quest Mall is only about a two-minute walk away. It's reasonably priced, with small but manageable rooms and bathrooms. There are only four or five rooms, some better than others, so pick according to your preference. There's no lift. The hotel entrance is on a back road rather than the main road, in a poorly maintained neighborhood. The window looks out on that same area, so there's no real view. I'd suggest calling or walking in rather than booking online.

The room was clean and hygienic. It's well located near Quest Mall, and Park Circus Railway Station is an easy walk away.
