Some staff members really tried to help, and I want to thank them for it. Ms. Sayani, Mr. Asish at the Front Office, Mr. Shubendu, and Mr. Satya from the cleaning department were polite and supportive, and showed real hospitality while dealing with the confusion. My main problem was with sales and reservations at Sarovar Portico Kolkata. I specifically requested a smoking room while booking, and they accepted the booking and payment. On arrival, I was told the entire property is non-smoking. They should have made that clear before confirming. After payment, the response from the reservation and sales team felt rude and unhelpful. The property itself is good, but the price was extremely high, almost 4-5 times what I'd experienced at hotels near the airport. If you have particular requirements, double-check them with reservations before paying. Thanks again to the staff who tried to help, God bless them.

My room felt a bit compact, but everything else was excellent. Sarovar Portico, Rajarhat was clean and hygienic, and the staff were very courteous. Ms. Tanu, Sayni, Shubhojit, and Souradeep deserve special mention for arranging everything so well and looking after me with warm, professional hospitality. I had a wonderful, comfortable stay and highly recommend it.

The atmosphere was calm and pleasant, and my room was clean, comfortable, and well maintained. Facilities were in good condition too. Reception staff were welcoming and professional, check-in went quickly, and they were ready to answer questions or help. Special thanks to Sayani at reception for the excellent service that made a real difference.

The restaurant had an impressive range of food, and breakfast was especially enjoyable, with local and continental choices. The hotel is also well placed for getting to key areas of the city. Rooms were clean, thoughtfully laid out, and comfortable after a long day, while the courteous, professional staff were always ready to help with a smile. I found Sarovar Portico comfortable and convenient, with reliable service and good value. It worked well for both business and leisure, and I'd recommend it for an easy, pleasant stay. The wedding guests all went home happy, and we're left with lovely memories. I arranged rooms for my newlywed son and daughter-in-law, along with about 25 guests, for the wedding reception. The hotel management also arranged flowers, balloons, and other decorations for the newlyweds' suite on suhag raat. Service, cooperation, and communication were wonderful. Special thanks to Mr Abhinav Minj and Mr Keshab Sengupta.
