The view from the window and balcony was lovely, and I enjoyed my stay. The reception was wonderful, the staff made me feel welcome, and the accommodation was good. Coffee and food were good too, with the city center and most amenities nearby. The main road is right beside the property, so it can be noisy. More attention to cleanliness would help. For a quieter room, ask for one inside near reception.
Is there really no zero-star option? 😑 We were eight friends, but the complimentary breakfast ran short. Three of us didn't get bread and eggs. The TV hadn't been recharged, so only the free Bangla channels were available. I also found it inappropriate that staff were using abusive language with each other. I still don't understand why we paid 1500 for the room. 😑
The room was dirty and smelled bad, and the price seemed far too high for its quality. We found cameras and installed several apps to check; they all reported hidden cameras in the AC and the top cupboard. When we told the staff, they responded rudely.
Getting there by any kind of transport is easy, and there's a local market nearby. The hotelier behaved professionally, and it's a good place to stay.
