Swagatam Inn

The room was dirty, and the manager and receptionist were rude. They first refused to give me a room and told me to cancel the booking I had made through booking.com. That cost nearly 1500, and they still charged me the full amount. I had booked two nights but was given only one. When I asked them to help, they just shrugged. A very unpleasant stay and extremely unprofessional treatment. Stay away from this hotel.

I keep coming back, and over the years I've seen the interiors change a lot. The refurbishment has brought upgraded facilities and services that match the quality and class of the rooms. Staff are courteous and ready to help, and I think it's the best hotel in the area. Its location works well for transit passengers and longer stays alike. Breakfast is another plus for me, with options changing each day. It consistently meets my expectations, and I'm always glad to return.

The food is so good. As a vegetarian, I'd definitely try the dahi ke kebab and stir fried vegetables. Everything is close by, the location is awesome, and the rooms are comfortable and nicely decorated. A good stay all around.

I had an excellent stay, though I really missed having an openable window in both the living room and bathroom. I wish the living room window weren't fixed. AC air doesn't feel suitable for health, and fresh air should be able to come in. Fixed windows may make the room look beautiful, but to me they make it unhealthy and unhygienic.
