We paid the full amount upfront for two days at this hotel in Kolkata, Saturday and Sunday, but the stay was frustrating from the beginning. Although the official check-in time is 12 PM, we arrived at 11:40 PM, exhausted after a long day of travel, and our room still wasn’t ready. With a confirmed booking and full payment, we were left waiting in the lobby for nearly 45 minutes. There was no urgency or accountability, just apologies. On Sunday morning, as we were heading out, the receptionist offered complimentary breakfast to compensate for the inconvenience. We accepted, thinking it was a genuine gesture. But at checkout today, we were asked to pay for it, with the explanation that the complimentary breakfast was only for one day. That condition hadn’t been made clear. It felt misleading, not like compensation. After the delayed room, the long wait, and unclear promises, being charged at checkout left a very sour taste. If compensation is offered, it should be explained clearly and honored, not changed at the counter. The stay lacked professionalism, clear communication, and basic courtesy. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel to travelers who value reliability and honest service.

I stayed for three nights. The rooms and sheets were clean, and at first it seemed like a decent hotel. But clean bedding doesn’t help if you can’t sleep. Doors in the adjacent rooms kept opening and closing at night, and someone was hammering around 2 AM. I didn’t get an hour of sleep. I let the noise go the first night, then told reception verbally on the second. By the third night, I’d decided not to book here again. I mentioned it again while checking out, but the staff seemed unapologetic. It looks like they already know this is an issue.

The location is excellent, especially for people going to the airport, and breakfast had a good spread and tasted good. The staff were polite and professional. Check-in took a long time even though I arrived an hour after check-in time, and the room was a bit small.

I picked this hotel for its location, but the hotel itself made the stay worthwhile. I stayed two nights and was very comfortable. The room was clean and a little small, but that didn’t bother me. Service was excellent and prompt. Breakfast was included and had a good spread. Dining and room service were good too. It’s great value for money, and I’d love to stay here again.
