The Village Resort

I booked the venue for my wedding and paid an advance. After I cancelled, they deliberately refunded me with an invalid cheque. I've spent the last 6 months fighting a legal case against them in court. They are frauds. It's best to stay away from this place and people like Mr Santosh, who is a total fraud.

Our experience with owner Santosh ji was very bad, and he was very unprofessional with us. We had booked 10 Rooms for my brother's reception, but he cancelled 5rooms at 11th hours after our guests had already reached the venue. They were supposed to provide dinner too, but couldn't serve it on time.

The venue is close to New Town and easy to reach, it's pet friendly, and the property looks good with lots of future aspects. But our family full-day outing in January was a complete disaster. We booked 2 Mud rooms, and had several problems: Room-1's AC and geyser didn't work, and Room-2's fan didn't work. We complained about Room-1's AC, but nothing was fixed. The menu card listed items that weren't all available, and the food was really bad in both quality and taste. It was tasteless, and they wouldn't let us bring online foods. We also waited a long time for food and even water. We asked for bonfire arrangements and were charged 1600/- for the woods. My family and I will never visit again. I'd tell my friends not to waste their precious moments here.

We booked a 2 days stay but checked out a day earlier after a terrible experience at this so-called resort. Meals took 3 hours each time, and we had to go to reception, where the manager had no idea what to do or say. In the end, I went to the kitchen to see the food. When I asked for a towel, the manager said they provide only 1 towel per room, with no extra even for families with kids. The one good thing was that they refunded the money, and the person on call was very polite and helpful. I would never recommend this place.
