Treebo Trend Glorious Rim Rocks Palace

The waiter who served us was gentle and cordial, which was about the only decent part of the stay. The room was unclean, and the bathroom was dirty; the towels and sheets were stained. When I pointed out the sheets, staff argued that they were clean. I regretted choosing this hotel as soon as I walked in, and the location was inconvenient too. One of my worst recent hotel stays.

Made from used cargo containers, the rooms have a very different feel, and we got a tour of the property while we were there. The setting mixes rustic and modern, while the menu is thoughtfully put together for a good meal. The concept is fresh, and the staff and management seem committed to high service standards and continually rethinking hospitality. I plan to stay here whenever I visit Goa.

The container and recycled metal theme is great, and breakfast was simple but good. This seems like a good place for friends, though I wouldn't recommend it for families. Service could improve, and our room was missing a fridge and a safety box.

The hotel is newly built, with well-designed rooms and two large conference rooms. There are separate smoking rooms beside the conference rooms, and you can see Science City from the top room. It's near Science City and Topsia more, though set a little way in from the main road, so it can be hard to find. Call the hotel directly or use Google for directions. Prices are very reasonable, and it's a good budget option with breakfast.
