Hotel Mahalakshmi Residency

The rooms were spacious, clean, and well kept. The AC worked well, and the bathroom was neat with hot water available 24x7. There’s a ground-floor restaurant with tasty food, including desserts and ice cream. Room service cost an extra ₹40-50 per order, but it was impressively quick, and the food arrived warm and fresh. We appreciated the smooth check-in and being allowed in 30 minutes early. The staff were courteous and humble, and the property was well maintained. The hotel is right next to Sri Mookambika Temple, which made it a very convenient choice. They also offer taxi services as Mahalaxmi Taxi, though I’d compare the prices with other providers first. The premium room was a little pricey for the basic in-room amenities: towels, two water bottles, and toiletries. A kettle with tea and coffee sachets would be useful and improve the value. It’s a good place for a short stay, especially for a visit to Sri Mookambika Temple.

The hotel arranged a convenient pickup for us from Byndoor railway station, and it’s easy to reach from both the railway and bus stations. We were a family of five with two kids staying at Hotel Mahalakshmi Residency in Kollur Mookambika, directly opposite the divine temple, so getting a quick darshan was easy. The stay was peaceful, and the rooms and bathrooms were clean. We especially liked the excellent in-house food, and the staff were genuinely courteous. We were very comfortable and will definitely book here again. There may be other hotels nearby, but this one stands out as the best. Highly recommended.

I had an amazing stay while visiting Mookambika temple. The hotel is right at the temple entrance, and the ground-floor restaurant serves vegetarian dishes and chat items at pretty reasonable prices. I’d totally recommend this place for a trip to Mookambika.

The rooms were neat, clean, and well maintained. Many pilgrims may only stay for a few hours, so the room may be enough for them. For the price range, though, they could offer a little more service. I came for darshan at Mookambika Temple because this was listed among the nearby 3-star hotels. I felt they should add a few more amenities, like coffee and other basics, as you’d expect at other 3-star hotels. There wasn’t hot drinking water, and there was no kettle in the room.
