The rooms are good, but the service standards are absolutely pathetic. Guests have to follow rules like they’re in jail and fit around staff convenience and their timings. The owner could make the place unbeatable by spending even 1% on service, but seems focused on the building instead. Despite a tariff of 1200, they don’t subscribe to the full channel package, so I couldn’t watch the Asia Cup final because they hadn’t taken the Sony package. The bedsheets and covers also weren’t washed after each stay. There was a lipstick mark from an earlier customer on the bed cover, apparently left unwashed to save money at the expense of guest hygiene.

I paid 3.2k for a suite booked offline for two days at 1.6k per day. I’d told the receptionist, Murli, on the phone that we would arrive for an early check-in at 4 AM, since our train was due into the city early on 4 October 2024, and that we’d check out at 8 AM on 6th October. I have the call recording. On checkout day, the owner said he hadn’t agreed to what was discussed and demanded another 1k, claiming day three had started at 4 AM on 6 October 2024. My issue isn’t the extra 1k itself, but the unethical way they try to take money from guests. This needs to stop. The check-in and checkout time for hotels Pan India is 11 to 11. Worst experience. I’d tell visitors not to stay here. My one-star rating reflects what happened during this stay.
