Hotel Pearl Palace

Service was slow, almost nonexistent. Towels don't arrive on time, and neither do soap or drinking water. Don't book a room or stay here. A waste of money.

The stay was fine, though the rooms weren't as clean as I expected for the price. It was okay, but could've been better.

We visited on 4 November, and finding the hotel was difficult. The building is packed with shops, and only one gallery points the way inside. The room was small, the geyser didn't work, the washbasin drain was blocked, the air duct switch was outside the room where we couldn't reach it, the phone didn't work, the ceiling fan hit the ceiling and made a huge noise, and water came very slowly from the tap. The worst part was the owner and staff behaving badly in the middle of the night. They forced us to check out then because the owner wouldn't wait until morning, and they called the police over extra occupancy. It was an awkward situation for any family on a trip. This felt like a fake hotel and a very dangerous experience. The staff were completely misbehaved, untrained, and arrogant, and the owner seemed to lead the trouble. The whole thing was deeply unprofessional.

I've stayed here over 20 or 30 times, and it's been fine every time. The staff are quick with service, the price is within budget, and I've had no problems. I'd recommend only hotel pearl palace iota, no other hotel measures up to it.
