Hotel Rallentino

We stayed in rooms 205 and 206 for one horrible night on 17/10/25, and I wouldn’t come back. The location is great and the rooms are a good size, but the place is badly infested with cockroaches. They were in the closets, bathrooms and side tables, crawling around the lift, and even crawling up our legs under the blanket at night. It urgently needs pest control. The managers were polite, but kept asking for cash payment. We withdrew cash from the HDFC ATM in the same building, and they still didn’t give us a final bill copy. The single cushioned chair was too dirty to sit on. Curtains, bedsheets and pillow covers were dirty and smelly. The bathrooms could have been lovely, but there were red stains in the WC and sink, and shower water pooled up to our ankles instead of draining. We checked in late in the evening, so we made the mistake of ordering food here. It took an hour to arrive. The tawa Roties smelled bad and the dal tadka was cold and watery. The Paneer Kadai and rice were average.

The staff were rude, the hygiene was awful, and there was dust everywhere. Cockroaches were on the bed, with spots on the bed cover and curtains. A horrible experience and a waste of money.

The property is lovely, and the hotel staff were friendly. We had a nice stay for a reasonable price.

The sheets and pillows were dirty, and some of the old furniture was broken. They also charged more than the price listed on the website.
