OYO 23293 Hotel Dev Residency

Small rooms, but nicely finished, and there's a waiting room on the ground floor. The place has no WiFi, the phone doesn't work, and there's no lift, so the rooms are upstairs. A geyser is available. They usually charge from 900+, and provide free pickup from the railway station. I had a pretty nice short stay, with a nice room and friendly staff.

The receptionist and staff were polite, and they gave me decent parking, which is why I'm still giving two stars. The blanket was dirty, the pillow smelled even after they changed it, and the TV didn't have all the main channels subscribed, apparently to save money. The switches sparked, and there were cockroaches around.

I called to confirm my booking and was told, “Yes, Sir, you can check-in after 12PM.” But when I got there, the owner said he hadn't received the money and asked me to cancel the OYO booking and pay cash. I had to pay extra because I had no other option, and lost what I'd paid online. I had booked through OYO and paid in the app because I was there for a Police Exam. If the owner hadn't received the money, he could have told me during that call so I could get my money back. Save yourself the trouble and never visit this place.

The room was dirty and full of mosquitoes. Even after paying through the OYO app, you'll be charged again, or they won't give you a room.
