Near Kothagiri–Donnington Junction, this is a budget-friendly option. The rooms were okay for the price, though there was a smell during our stay. The washrooms were clean and well maintained. It’s decent for solo travelers or budget family trips if you don’t expect much comfort. Replacing the old beds would make the stay better.

We picked this place for the balcony view and value for money. Outside the room the view is lovely, and at night we heard birds, monkeys and other forest sounds instead of traffic honking. It’s easy to reach, has parking, and isn’t right on the main road. A friendly cat visited us in the morning and made our day. The elderly staff were all friendly and helpful. The room was very clean and maintained well, with an adequate amount of space, a bed, table and chair. There’s no shower, just taps, and no power backup or intercom. The TV worked with Tata Sky, and hot water was available, or they could bring it in a bucket if the tap water wasn’t hot enough. Room service was available. One thing to consider: there are about 20 to 35 big stairs to reach the rooms. We saw some elderly guests struggle with them, so choose a place without stairs if even a little climbing is an issue.

There’s no food available on site, so bring some or buy it before you arrive. The owner’s service was excellent, and she helped us over the phone even though it was very late. The desk incharge was helpful too. The room cost very little, but the toilet was in really bad shape and smelled. The health facet was broken and left on the wash basin. If they kept up with small day to day maintenance like this, it could be a very good place for an overnight stay.

The location and ambience are nice, and the washroom was clean and good. But the room wasn’t good, and it’s only suitable for bachelor men, not a family. The bed wasn’t very good either. Don’t expect anything, it’s basically a lodge with zero amenities.

The room and bathroom were clean, and the older staff were very helpful. But it’s too small for a family, including the bathroom, which is only good for a quick freshen up. There’s no heater. For hot water, you have to go outside, get it in a bucket, and bring it back. Online booking costs 1000 rs per day, which isn’t worth it, while booking directly is 800 per day.
