The GM was professional, approachable, and attentive, and that showed in the smooth service. Staff were polite and helpful, the place was clean, and the atmosphere felt welcoming and family friendly. The menu has plenty of variety, with well prepared dishes made from fresh ingredients and served on time. Silver Tips Kothamangalam is a comfortable place for a meal, with consistently good food and balanced flavours. I’d recommend it.

At meal times, everything felt disorganized, and the GM’s behavior made an already bad experience worse. Silvertips Hotel may be called a 4-star hotel, but they don’t seem to know how to treat guests properly. When we tried to order food in the evening, we were told they couldn’t serve it. Even when we were hungry in the morning or evening, they struggled to arrange food and simply said it wasn’t possible. Very disappointing service. I’ll never recommend this hotel to anyone.

The rooms were tiny and didn’t feel worth what we paid, especially if you wanted to relax. The pool information caused trouble too. Staff told us at check-in it would stay open until 7 PM, so we planned around that, but when we got back at 6 PM they said it had closed at 5. That was frustrating and threw off our plans.

The owner and staff are a real credit to Silver Tips. They were excellent and nothing seemed like too much trouble. I’d be very happy to stay at this lovely hotel again. Enjoy your stay!
