I noticed used items left by previous guests in the table drawer the morning after I arrived. The room had seemed okay at first, but finding those things made it clear it hadn’t been cleaned properly before check-in. The stay wasn’t satisfactory, and housekeeping needs to pay more attention to cleanliness.

At Iswarya Residency, Kottayam, the rooms were average. We booked for three, but weren’t given an extra bed, which was inconvenient. Dining was a letdown too: there was no buffet, and they served just one dosa per person.

I stayed here by myself with my kids and felt safe. The staff behaved in a trustworthy way, and everyone was polite and professional. Our room was spacious, clean, and well maintained, with good furniture. The hotel is beautiful and offers good service. At the restaurant they reconfirmed our order, which showed professionalism. I’d happily recommend it and will definitely come again. 👌🏻

The rooms are okay, but upkeep could be better. We reached our floor at 6am and it was pitch dark; they couldn’t even turn on one corridor light. There was only one bathroom light, tucked in a corner, and it didn’t brighten the whole room. Not comfortable.

I was very disappointed by the rates and how we were treated. The room price seems to depend on which front desk person you speak to. One person first quoted an amount, then the price went up after we visited the residency.
