The rooms were fine for a traveler, with no particular problems, and there’s no restaurant on site. There are plenty nearby, though, and Swiggy delivery is allowed. It’s a budget hotel close to platform 1 at Kottayam railway station. The walk is about 400 metres, but that may feel longer since you have to leave the station before the distance starts. They’re very strict about checkout time, which feels unreasonable for a hotel by a railway station. Trains can be delayed, so they should allow some flexibility for a later checkout if you pay extra.

The hotel is in a good location and feels like luxury on a budget. It was neat and clean, and the TV worked with the set-top box. The staff member I dealt with was very helpful.

A simple budget hotel within walking distance of the railway station. There’s no restaurant inside, but you can order food or walk to nearby restaurants.
