The backwater setting is lovely, and the grounds around the Windsor Castle hotel are scenic and well maintained. There’s plenty of space inside the compound, including a large parking area with good arrangements. It works well for parties, get-togethers, and other functions, and they also provide catering for events held here.

There’s room for more than 500 guests in the spacious hall, and parking is ample. It’s about 3.5 km from Kottayam railway station, 2 km from Kottayam Busstand, and 85 km from Kochi Airport. A beautiful convention hall.

For marriages and similar gatherings, this could be a decent venue. Concerts are another matter: the Agam show sounded far too boomy because the hall hasn’t been acoustically treated.

There’s a big convention center and plenty of space to wander around and take in the amazing scenery. You can stay in houses that include naalu-kettu and ett- kettu, and they can even serve food on a boat. The service was so good I ended up extending my vacation. There’s boating, a spa, fishing, and lots more to enjoy. Such a great getaway.
